We assign a technical rating of 7 out of 10 to HTM. Although HTM is only a medium performer in the overall market, the technical picture looks good in both the medium and short term time frames.
The long and short term trends are both positive. This is looking good!
A new 52 week high is currently being made by HTM, which is a very good signal! Especially since the S&P500 is only trading in the upper part of its 52 week range, so HTM is leading the market.
Looking at the yearly performance, HTM did better than 78% of all other stocks. However, this overall performance is mostly based on the strong move around 4 months ago.
In the last month HTM has a been trading in a tight range between 5.34 and 5.50.
Although HTM has an excellent technical rating, it does not present a decent entry opportunity at the moment. Price movement has been a little bit too volatile to find a nice entry and exit point. It is probably a good idea to wait for a consolidation first.
