Blackstone Inc. real estate veteran Bill Stein, who played a role in shaping big investments across its $335 billion business, is retiring after nearly three decades at the firm.
Temasek Holdings Pte is nearing a deal to buy a significant minority stake in VFS Global, according to people familiar with the matter, a transaction that could value the visa outsourcing and technology services firm at about $7 billion including debt.
Vista Equity Partners and Blackstone Inc. are asking private credit lenders for a $3.2 billion debt package to support their proposed acquisition of software maker Smartsheet Inc., according to people with knowledge of the matter.
