Dallas, Texas, March 06, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NL Industries, Inc. (NYSE: NL) today reported net income attributable to NL stockholders of $7.6 million, or $.16 per share, in the fourth quarter of 2023 compared to a net loss attributable to NL stockholders of $6.1 million, or $.13 per share, in the fourth quarter of 2022. NL’s results include an unrealized gain of $2.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2023 related to the change in value of marketable equity securities compared to a $3.8 million unrealized loss in the fourth quarter of 2022. For the full year of 2023, NL reported a net loss attributable to NL stockholders of $2.3 million, or $.05 per share, compared to net income attributable to NL stockholders of $33.8 million, or $.69 per share for the full year of 2022. NL’s results include an unrealized loss of $8.1 million in each of the full years of 2022 and 2023 related to the change in value of marketable equity securities.
Dallas, Texas, Feb. 28, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NL Industries, Inc. (NYSE: NL) today announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of eight cents ($0.08) per share on its common stock, payable on March 21, 2024 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 11, 2024.
