URBAN ONE, INC. REPORTS YEAR END 2023 AND FIRST QUARTER 2024 RESULTS

WASHINGTON, June 10, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Urban One, Inc. (NASDAQ: UONEK and UONE) today reported its results for the year ended December 31, 2023 and for the three months ended March 31, 2024. For the year ended December 31, 2023 net revenue was approximately $477.7 million, a decrease of 1.4% from the same period in 2022. The Company reported operating loss of approximately $31.6 million for the year ended December 31, 2023, compared to operating income of approximately $91.1 million for the year ended December 31, 2022. Broadcast and digital operating income¹ was approximately $168.4 million, a decrease of 16.5% from the same period in 2022. Net income was approximately $2.1 million or $0.04 per share (basic) compared to $34.3 million or $0.70 per share (basic) for the same period in 2022. Adjusted EBITDA² was approximately $128.4 million for the year ended December 31, 2023, compared to approximately $165.2 million for the same period in 2022.
