Melco Announces Appointment of New Independent Non-Executive Director

MACAU, June 13, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited (Nasdaq: MLCO) (“Melco” or the “Company”), a developer, owner, and operator of integrated resort facilities in Asia and Europe, today announced the appointment of Mr. John Peter Ben Wang as an independent non-executive director of the Company, effective as of June 13, 2025. In addition, Mr. Wang has been appointed as the chairman of the Company’s audit and risk committee and a member of each of the Company’s compensation committee and nominating and corporate governance committee. The board of directors of the Company has also determined that Mr. Wang qualifies as an “audit committee financial expert” as defined in Item 16A of Form 20-F.
