Cathay Pacific Signs Agreement for More GE Aerospace Engines to Power 777-9s

CINCINNATI , Aug. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) announced today that Cathay Pacific has committed to purchasing GE9X engines to power 14 additional Boeing 777-9 aircraft, bringing the airline's total commitment to 35 GE9X powered 777-9s.
