MUNSTER, Ind., Oct. 25, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Finward Bancorp (Nasdaq: FNWD) (the “Bancorp”), the holding company for Peoples Bank (the “Bank”), today announced that net income available to common stockholders was $6.9 million, or $1.60 per diluted share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2023, as compared to $11.1 million, or $2.67 per diluted share, for the corresponding prior year period. For the quarter ended September 30, 2023, the Bancorp’s net income totaled $2.2 million, or $0.51 per diluted share, as compared to $4.6 million, or $1.07 per share, for the quarter ending September 30, 2022.
