SHINNSTON, W.Va., Nov. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The construction phase of a 1,200-megawatt combined-cycle natural gas plant proposed by FirstEnergy in West Virginia is expected to generate over 3,260 jobs and $68 million in state and local tax revenue, according to FirstEnergy Board Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer Brian X.
