CORAL GABLES, Fla., Jan. 19, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amerant Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: AMTB) (the “Company” or “Amerant”) today reported net income attributable to the Company of $18.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2022 , or $0.55 per diluted share. Results in the fourth quarter reflect a provision for credit losses of $20.9 million, including the retroactive effect of the Current Expected Credit Loss (“CECL”) accounting standard for all previous quarterly periods in the year ended December 31, 2022 for an amount of approximately $11.1 million¹. Net income attributable to the Company was $63.3 million for the full-year 2022, or $1.85 per diluted share.
