Amerant Bancorp Inc. Announces New Share Repurchase Program

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Dec. 19, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amerant Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: AMTB) (the “Company” or “Amerant”) today announced that its Board of Directors authorized a new share repurchase program (the “New Repurchase Program”), pursuant to which the Company may purchase, from time to time, up to an aggregate amount of $25 million of its shares of Class A common stock. The New Repurchase Program will be effective from January 1, 2023 until December 31, 2023. The Company will not, however, repurchase shares prior to the release of 4Q 2022 earnings in January 2023.
