Valley National Bancorp Reports Fourth Quarter 2024 Results

NEW YORK, Jan. 23, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Valley National Bancorp (NASDAQ:VLY), the holding company for Valley National Bank, today reported net income for the fourth quarter 2024 of $115.7 million, or $0.20 per diluted common share, as compared to the third quarter 2024 net income of $97.9 million, or $0.18 per diluted common share, and net income of $71.6 million, or $0.13 per diluted common share, for the fourth quarter 2023. Excluding all non-core income and charges, our adjusted net income (a non-GAAP measure) was $75.7 million, or $0.13 per diluted common share, for the fourth quarter 2024, $96.8 million, or $0.18 per diluted common share, for the third quarter 2024, and $116.3 million, or $0.22 per diluted common share, for the fourth quarter 2023.
