AMESBURY, Mass., May 1, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Provident Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") (NasdaqCM: PVBC), the holding company for BankProv (the "Bank"), reported net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 of $2.1 million, or $0.13 per diluted share, compared to $2.7 million, or $0.16 per diluted share, for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 and $5.5 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2022.
