The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has rejected Madison Square Garden Co.’s plans to build a giant orbed shape entertainment venue in east London’s Stratford district.
Madison Square Garden Entertainment directors have reached a tentative $85 million settlement of investors’ challenge to a 2021 deal that combined the owner of the NBA’s New York Knicks with the company that broadcasts the team’s games, according to a court filing.
MSG Networks Inc. shareholders told the judge on their case against the broadcaster over a $900 million merger that it had destroyed emails and texts that could have helped them prevail.
MSG Networks Inc. shareholders can proceed with a vote next week on its proposed merger with Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. after a judge rejected an investor request to delay attempts by billionaire James L. Dolan to consolidate his family’s interest in the companies.
