Global Battery Metals Ltd. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company went IPO on 2006-07-06. The firm maintains economic interests in three battery metal projects: an option to acquire up to about 90% interest in the Leinster Lithium Property and drill program underway in Ireland; a 100% interest in the drill-ready Lithium King Property in Utah; and about 55% stake in Peru-based Lara Copper Property, which has over 10,000 meters of drilling. The Leinster Lithium Project is located in the south of Dublin in the counties of Wicklow and South Carlow in the Republic of Ireland. The project consists of over 22 prospecting license areas covering approximately 775 square kilometers (km2). The Lithium King Project is a drill-ready lithium brine project located on the west side of the Great Salt Lake Basin in western Utah, adjacent to the community of Wendover, Utah. The Lara Copper Property consists of three mineral concessions.
