The company went IPO on 2011-05-26. The firm operates through three segments: Mail in the Netherlands, Parcels and International, and PostNL Other. The firm's geographical segments include The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Rest of Europe, Europe and Rest of the World. The firm delivers approximately 550,000 parcels and nine million letters a day throughout the Netherlands. The company offers services through a combination of smart networks, digital applications and the communication channels. Each day it delivers over 1.1 million items to approximately 200 countries. In addition to its global delivery services, the Company operates mail and parcel distribution network in the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) region. In Germany, it operates under the Postcon brand and in Italy under the name of Nexive. The Company, through Spring Global Delivery Solutions, provides mail, parcel and return solutions to businesses around the world.
