Needham analyst Scott Berg lowered the firm’s price target on Klaviyo (KVYO) to $45 from $56 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company reported impressive Q1 results led by upmarket execution and international traction continuing to drive recent outperformance, though the firm’s price target cut reflects software multiples trending lower due to macro uncertainty, the analyst tells investors in a research note. (Reuters) -Australia's ANZ Group reported largely flat first-half cash earnings on Thursday as competition pressured margins and a rise in impairments offset lending growth, while flagging that market activity is likely to realign due to global trade risks. "Trade flows are interrupted, customers are forced to adjust strategies, and capital is more cautious," ANZ's outgoing CEO Shayne Elliott said on a conference call. "While we focus on risk settings in the short term, global economic and market activity is likely to realign rather than decline, and we will continue to follow our customers and facilitate that realignment as they move their capital, rethink their manufacturing base, or change their supply chains," he added.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced a "breakthrough" trade agreement with Britain on Thursday, which leaves in place a baseline 10% tariff on British imports including vehicles. The market sees the trade deal as positive because it means Trump is envisioning a 10% baseline for friendly countries with anything beyond that subject to negotiation, said Axel Merk, president and chief investment officer at Merk Hard Currency Fund in California.

LONDON (Reuters) -The Bank of England is poised to extend its slow run of interest rate cuts on Thursday with investors watching for any signs that it could soon pick up the pace as U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs weigh on the world economy. Governor Andrew Bailey and his BoE colleagues have long stressed the need for a gradual and careful approach to lowering borrowing costs, something most analysts say is likely to continue given the scale of uncertainty about the outlook. The BoE has cut rates just three times so far since last August, moving more slowly than the U.S. Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank due to its concerns about inflationary heat in the jobs market.
