OLDSMAR, Fla., March 16, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cryo-Cell International, Inc. (The Nasdaq Stock Market Symbol: CCEL) (the “Company”), the world’s first private cord blood bank to separate and store stem cells in 1992, announces it has entered into a purchase contract, with the closing subject to customary conditions, for a newly constructed, 56,000 sq ft facility located in the Regional Commerce Center within the Research Triangle, NC. We anticipate this facility will expand Cryo-Cell’s cryopreservation and cold storage business by introducing a new service, ExtraVault (www.extravault.com). With over 30 years of experience in handling biological specimens for both research and clinical use, Cryo-Cell intends to leverage this expertise and offer these biorepository services to biopharmaceutical companies and healthcare institutions.
